Singapore Gulf Bank (SGB) has introduced SGB Virtual Accounts, a solution designed to automate corporate collections and cash management. The platform integrates collect-on-behalf-of (COBO) and pay-on-behalf-of (POBO) functionalities, enabling businesses to assign unique identifiers for payers, invoices, or internal units. This innovation promises faster processing, real-time settlement, and eliminates batch-based reconciliation delays.

Targeted at tech-driven enterprises—including payment providers, online marketplaces, and fintech firms—the service ensures regulatory-compliant fund segregation. By reducing manual processes and human error, SGB's offering enhances operational efficiency without increasing administrative burdens.
